Window Shades

August 29, 2020 by Donald Anderson

We need to cover Campbell’s windows for privacy sometimes when we sleep inside. Shades also help with security when we leave her alone. They protect from ultraviolet damage and help control the inside temperature by either reflecting or absorbing sunlight.

WeatherTech

Since we use the WeatherTech cocoa floor liners and are very happy with them, we decided to try their window shades too.

So far, it was a good choice. They are cut so precisely that they stay in place by friction alone. Even the back window shade stays in place with the hatch up.

We will leave some shades up permanently and if they need some help while we are driving, a little gaffer’s tape will do the trick.

They are reversible and the dark side matches our black car better. They are more stealthy that way too.
